Senior OSS Solution Architect

TDC is in the midst of an exciting transformation where our network operations and infrastructure are established as a stand-alone company called NetCo. This presents a unique opportunity to build all central business processes and systems from scratch and requires several new specialists and managers. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of an exciting journey.


TDC NetCo IT is hiring a Senior Solution Architect to start ASAP in our Telco Core department. You’ll be responsible for developing a future-proof state-of-the-art architecture for our brand new BSS/OSS stack. You’ll be an important part of a new team in a new organization that, in close collaboration with the Enterprise Architect, are going to secure the architectural foundations for TDC NetCo’s strategic ambitions.


Your future job includes:

  • Business Alignment on both short- and long-term initiatives

  • Decomposition of both IT- and business strategy to objectives for each application domain

  • Close cooperation with the Enterprise Architect as well as our Technology Partner and coming BSS vendor (both onshore and offshore)

  • Participating in strategic application selection processes

  • Help continuously maturing and improving architectural principles, processes and methodology


You have:

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent

  • A background as a Senior Telco IT Solution Architect with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a proven documented track record

  • Previous experience from complex Telco IT environments, including BSS/OSS swaps, application consolidation and transformation

  • Knowledge of multiple technologies e.g. 2/3/4G/VoLTE/VoWiFi & FixedLine/DSL/COAX/Fiber

  • Experience working in a Multi-vendor & Multi-technology setup

  • Experience with Process Automation (closed-loop, SON, etc.) for Service Assurance

  • Knowledge about industry standards such as eTOM, ITIL, SAFe, TOGAF etc.

  • A sufficiently technical background to be able to master specifics as well as the overview

  • Experiences working in an agile environment will be a plus

  • Proficient fluency in English (written and spoken). Similar fluency in Danish is a plus

The position will be located in our Copenhagen office, with occasional travelling expected.
