Senior Test Practice Lead

TDC is in the midst of an exciting transformation where our network operations and infrastructure are established as a stand-alone company called NetCo. This presents a unique opportunity to build all central business processes and systems from scratch and requires several new specialists and managers. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of an exciting journey.


TDC NetCo IT is hiring a Senior Test Practice Lead to start ASAP in our Telco Core department. You’ll be responsible for setting up, developing, executing and leading our Test Practice for our brand-new BSS stack. You’ll be an important part of a new team in a new organization that, in close collaboration with our vendors, are going to secure the overall quality of the new IT stack.


Your future job includes:

  • Setting up the Test Practice in NetCo IT that covers all types of tests: Functional Testing (Unit, Integration, System & Acceptance) and Non-functional Testing (Performance, Security and Usability) in a complex IT environment

  • Securing valid and realistic test plans are present

  • Securing full transparency into the test process, using KPI’s at a daily level

  • Build test automation that underpins our CI/CD ambitions

  • Analyze testing results to identify root-causes and provide improvement suggestions throughout the value chain

  • Provide the above in close cooperation with our Technology Partner and coming BSS vendor (both onshore and offshore)


You have:

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent

  • A background as a Senior Test Lead with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a proven documented track record

  • Previous experience from complex IT environments with many vendors. Telco experience will be considered a plus

  • Knowledge about industry standards such as SAFe, TDD, eTOM, ITIL, etc.

  • Knowledge of different test types: white box, black box, exploratory testing etc.

  • Knowledge of Test tools and how to setup test automation

  • Able to validate test coverage

  • Experiences working in an agile environment (SAFe will be a plus)

  • Proficient fluency in English (written and spoken). Similar fluency in Danish is a plus

The position will be located in our Copenhagen office, with occasional travelling expected.
